In 2009, Prof Jill Stewart, Prof Chris Bingham and I founded the School of Engineering at the University of Lincoln in collaboration with Siemens, working closely with Professor Andrew Atherton. This was the first new School of its kind in the UK for over 20 years. I just found this presentation which I gave as Head of School in 2011 prior to the new Engineering building being opened, and outlining all the exciting offerings and developments in teaching and research in the new school.
